Let’s have a look at how some of the major cities are performing w.r.t the advance booking:
Mumbai
Mumbai was a non-starter yesterday and even today there’s only a slight jump in numbers. There are less than 5% shows which are filling fast at this moment which is low.
Delhi
Delhi is also slow and is trending just like Mumbai. There are a couple of shows more that are filling fast as compared to Mumbai but the percentage is still less than 5.
Bengaluru & Hyderabad
Bengaluru is steady as compared to yesterday as there are still 10% approx shows which are filling fast. Hyderabad has improved a little and has now 10% approx shows which are on the way to get packed.

Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune & Kolkata
All 4 cities were non-starters yesterday and they are trending similarly even today. The film will need to see some really good spot bookings yesterday or else there may be a struggle at the Box Office.
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan talks about homos*xuality and homophobia in a light way. The film is a sequel to 2017 Hit Shubh Mangal Saavdhan which was a light take on erectile dysfunction. It was also a slow starter but sustained well to emerge a Hit film.
However, since SMZS a sequel and also the star value of Ayushmann has improved in the last two years, the opening collections need to be reasonable at least.
