The Sanjay Gupta directorial Shootout At Wadala kick started the week with a good performance at the domestic box office. As presumed, the film saw a normal drop in its collections by almost 50% on its 1st Monday.
The collections that was recorded at 10.10 crores on it opening day (Friday) now rests at an approximate of 4.50 crores on Monday (Day 4). The film’s weekend collections were excellent despite having adult content, hurling abuses and lewd language at places!
Despite being a flavorsome mass entertainer it did not seem apt to be a family viewing film, nevertheless it still managed to make good business at the box office. The movie now stands at a domestic total of about 35.30 Crores at the box office.
SAW maintained its ground in its stronghold circuits of Delhi, U.P and a large part of Punjab along with Central India and Rajasthan, where the film is still doing extremely well.
