Shamitabh Sees A Dull Occupancy On Day 1 At The Box Office

Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush starrer Shamitabh released today across the country. Though the movie opened to rave reviews from the critics, the film’s occupancy in the morning shows was not very impressive. Clearly only mouth publicity will help the Shamitabh to improve its occupancies.

The film has witnessed comparatively better response in metros but the overall opening day occupancy was poor across the country. Like other Balki directorials, even Shamitabh has witnessed a decent opening in South India. Mysore, Mumbai and NCR circuit saw an occupancy of around 20-30%, however, the rest of the parts were dull.
