Shaitaan Box Office Day 17 (Early Trends): With Bumper Collections, Ajay Devgn & R Madhavan Starrer Tells Its Competitors, “Bura Na Maano Holi Hai”

Shaitaan will be raking in some impressive profits at the box office. Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan led film refuses to slow down despite multiple new releases at the ticket windows. With the extended Holi weekend, the trend will only get better. And one can already see the positive signs. Scroll below for early trends for day 17.

As most know, Shaitaan hit the theatre screens on March 8, 2024. The film faced competition from Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha, but its strong run was unaffected. With two new releases last Friday (Swatantrya Veer Savarkar and Madgaon Express), it is to be seen whether the horror thriller will be able to maintain its momentum or slow down.

Shaitaan Box Office Collection

Till day 16, Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s film had made a total box office collection of 124.50 crores*. It witnessed a tremendous jump of 75% on Saturday (5 crores) compared to Friday’s earnings of 2.85 crores.

The Holi celebrations all across the country benefitted the film in a big way. Improved footfalls were witnessed during the evening and night shows despite the arrival of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar and Madgaon Express.

Shaitaan Box Office Day 17 Early Estimates

As per the early trends flowing in, Shaitaan has added another 4.80-5.20 crores to its kitty on day 17. Although Saturday earnings are usually higher than Sunday, we’re witnessing an improved scenario, thanks to the Holi festivities.

After the conclusion of day 17, the overall collections will land somewhere between 129.30-129.70 crores*. The film is expected to achieve the 150 crore milestone soon, and the ongoing festivities will fast-pace the momentum.

Lifetime run to wrap up by Eid?

Viewers are going to witness a big clash this Eid with the arrival of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Ajay Devgn‘s Maidaan at the box office. Shaitaan will complete over a month by the time of their release on April 10 and is likely to be wiped off with the release of the two biggies.
