Queen, a film that took us by surprise after it kept adding more numbers post its weak start finally showed signs of a downturn. After a slight drop on Tuesday, the film experienced a further drop on its 2nd Wednesday.
It collected 1.50 crores on it’s second Wednesday. Queen now stands with a total of 35.35 crores at the domestic box office. The Kangana Ranaut starrer won her a lot of accolades for her performance and this also resulted in the film doing a good business at the box office.
Film like Shaadi Ke Side Effects, that got released before Queen, had a lot of hoopla around it thanks to their star cast and also being big banner films. However, Queen managed to surpass its collections. Without much buzz and elaborate promotional activities, riding only on Kangana Ranaut’s shoulders, Queen film proved its mettle.
Although now with new releases such Ragini MMS 2 and Gang Of Ghosts up for release, Queen may have a cut down in the number of shows.
