Join UsIt was pretty much obvious that ‘Dilwale‘ will take a bigger opening than ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ at the box office. But it was a surprising Monday, as on the fourth day ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ scored more than ‘Dilwale‘. While SRK-Kajol starrer ‘Dilwale‘ raked 10.09 crore, the Ranveer-Deepika-Priyanka starrer ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ collected 10.25 crore on Monday.
It’ll be very interesting to see whether ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ will overtake ‘Dilwale‘ or Dilwale will bounce back in the coming days.
Here’s what Distributors are saying about both the film so far:
Ajay Pal From Bangalore – “Positive word of mouth has helped ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ to remain strong on Monday and the chances are higher that this film will overtake in the coming days.”
Brijesh Tandon – “Both the films will perform well in the weekdays but by looking at today’s business there are chances of ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ to score more. Also the coming Christmas weekend is crucial for both the movies.”
Arun Mehra – “Dilwale is doing exceptionally well. People are thoroughly enjoying the film. Matinee evening shows are running at full capacity even today ( Tuesday ). As a distributor I am delighted.”
