Mardaani maintained a steady pace and had a decent second weekend. The film collected 1.5 crores on Friday, 2 crores on Saturday and 2.5 crores on Sunday. The film now stands with a total collection of 29.20 crores at the domestic box office.

Considering that the new release Raja Natwarlal has been a downer at the box office, Mardaani scored due to it. The film has been made tax free in Maharashtra, U.P and M.P circuits which are the mass belts and the film is surely benefiting from this.
Dealing with a serious issue of child trafficking, the film was garnered with good critics responses and the film has come so far thanks to its positive word of mouth publicity. Compared to other woman centric films of the year such as Queen and Bobby Jasoos, this film has been performing much better.
