Surprisingly, the collection in the second week and third week was recorded higher than the opening week, which clearly speaks volumes about the phenomenal success of the film.
Creates history at the North American box office!
After becoming the highest-grossing Malayalam film in history, Manjummel Boys achieved a big milestone in North America. It is learned that the film has crossed $1.5 million, a feat that has been achieved by no other Mollywood release. In fact, no Malayalam film has even managed to touch even the $1 million mark. In the recent worldwide box office update, Manjummel Boys emerged as the first film in the history of Malayalam cinema to cross the 200-crore mark. It is sitting right at the top of the list of highest-grossing Malayalam films by a considerable margin. Tovino Thomas’ 2018 is in second position with a collection of 181 crores gross.
Till now, the Chidambaram directorial has amassed 201.58 crores gross at the worldwide box office, and it still has fuel left in its tank. Let’s wait and see if another Malayalam film surpasses the collection achieved by this latest blockbuster of 2024.
