Lootera Drops Drastically On Its 1st Monday At The Box Office

Lootera after being acclaimed as a masterpiece by most critics of the tinsel town, couldn’t translate the same in its box office collections. The film despite showing a promising growth in its opening weekend, saw a conspicuous drop on its 1st Monday. Earning an income of 2.25 crores, the film’s total collections have so far summed up to 21.25 crores.

The major reason that can be singled out for the drop is that the film’s target audience is in the urban centers, mostly the multiplexes and hence the drop is more stark than expected. Since the weekday performance of the film has been so frail, the film from its pace of collections cannot emerge as anything better than an average fare!
