Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh has turned out to be one of the biggest surprises for Bollywood with some unprecedented business at the ticket windows. Despite some notable releases like Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15, Annabelle Comes Home and Spider-Man: Far From Home, the movie has refused to slow down at the ticket windows and added another 9.61 crores on the 17th day, which is extremely huge.
Kabir Singh collected 9.61 crores on its 3rd Sunday, which has bagged another unbelievable feat for the movie as it has recorded 4th all-time highest numbers for 3rd Sunday of Hindi movie. It is now in the league of the biggies like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Dangal. If one considers only Bollywood movies, Kabir Singh is at 3rd position in highest 3rd Sunday collection.
Surprisingly, Kabir Singh has surpassed Shahid’s own magnum opus Padmaavat, which featured stars like Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Also, it overtook all-time blockbuster 3 Idiots and Sanju.
Below are the highest 3rd Sunday collections of all time:
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi) (2017) – 17.75 crores
Dangal (2016) – 14.33 crores
PK (2014) – 11.58 crores
