While season of biggies is kick-starting only now, what with Jai Ho and Holiday being the only notable big ticket films in the first six months, it has been a series of medium budget films that have kept the audience engaged. A dozen odd successes later, each of which managed collections between 40-70 crore, it is time for yet controlled budget film to make a mark. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which has cost just 28 crore with most of its moolah recovered pre-release via selling of ancillary rights, has now turned out to be a real big winner for Dharma, what with a very good week that saw consistent collections.
