Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty picked well on its first Saturday. The film starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles had already shown positive signs since Friday evening and with the start of the weekend, Saturday experienced a good footfall. Saturday morning shows were better than Friday morning shows, moreover the evening and night shows experienced a huge leap.

The film collected 12.30 crores on its second day, taking its two days total to 24.30 crores at the domestic box office.

Mumbai, Delhi/Punjab, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mysore circuit, Gujarat showed enormous pick up. While there was a rise in the footfall in multiplexes, the same could not be said about single screens. Being a hard core single-screen-type film, Holiday has a certain touch of class and thus, will surely show a decent upward trend over the weekend.

The film has a big star quotient and not to forget its music too has gathered a good fan base, that will help Holiday garner more audience’s attention. Holiday is expected to do a strong business today.
