Happy New Year May Fall Short Of 200 Crores In 10 Days

Happy New Year started off on an excellent note on its opening day and but failed to maintain the same pace at the box office. The film post its first week, has collected 157.5 crores at the domestic box office.

The collections have seen a drop in the week days but Happy New Year is expected to bounce back again over the second weekend.

Although the expectations from the film were much higher and it was expected to reach the 200 crore total in ten days, now the feat seems quite difficult to be attained in the expected period. The film’s ten day performance is expected to be similar to that of Kick which made 198 crores in ten days.

The highest ten day total till now was Dhoom 3 with a whopping collection of 227 crores.
