Good Newwz VS Dabangg 3 Box Office: It’s just a week’s gap when Akshay Kumar comes in with a film to spoil the party for Salman Khan. They’re clashing next year on Eid as their films Radhe and Laxmmi Bomb will lock horns. But, one interesting thing to look out, for now, is will Akshay beat Salman at his own game?

Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 had everything designed on a plate – the masala genre audience craves for, part of a well-known franchise, a festive release and most importantly – it’s a Salman Khan film. Things didn’t blow up as the team would’ve expected. It crossed the 100-crore mark in 5 days but a good Salman Khan film has done that in 3.

It noticed a drop on its 1st Monday but thankfully stayed stable on Tuesday. Wednesday being the Christmas holiday, Dabangg 3 showed a jump. But, what’s next? Good Newwz has been getting spectacular reviews all over and hence it will prove to be a roadblock.

Dabangg 3 will start slowing down from here as Good Newwz takes over the driving seat. From the opening day, weekend to lifetime, we could all see some interesting turn of events as we enter the New Year. But, the big question is will Good Newwz surpass the lifetime collection of Dabangg 3 at the box office?

Interestingly, last year we saw Shah Rukh Khan with his pet project Zero releasing (21st December 2018) during a similar period as Dabangg 3 (20th December 2019). Zero failed to leave a mark and next week’s release Ranveer Singh’s Simmba (28th December 2018) surpassed expectations of many. Will the history repeat itself?
