Join UsStudent Of The Year is out and showing strong opening figures at the Box-office now. Director Karan Johar, the film’s vast promotional activities, newbies Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt and their sincere performance, has played its role very well in the opening figures.
Interestingly, it was John Abraham’s debut production venture Vicky Donor which too had done quite a well at the Box-office in spite of the fact of having debutantes Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam in the lead roles.
Vicky Donor may be a better content movie than SOTY however the latter may become a hit, seeing the opening rush, if able to cover up the huge budget. Also the opening figures do show the power of ‘A Karan Johar film’ who is a BIG name in himself.
