Crew revolves around three friends (Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon) who lead a peaceful life while working as cabin crew. An unfortunate twist in the tale is witnessed when they get involved in a heist. Whether they will be able to break free or not is the real mystery. The one-liners, the music, and the supporting cast are all top-notch. The pre-release hype was also impressive, which is now benefitting the film at the box office.

In the first two days, Crew brought total box office collections of 21.15 crores. This includes an opening day of 10.28 crores and earnings of 10.87 crores on Saturday. The trend also gave hopes for a bumper Sunday. The advance booking collections witnessed a jump of 32%, which further supported the growth.
There are multiple other releases at the box office, but Crew seems to be standing apart from the crowd. In fact, the current trend is proving that films of different genres certainly have the scope to co-exist and mint money at the ticket windows. After the first weekend, the overall collections will now land somewhere between 31.45-32.45 crores. It is now time to see how the film trends during the weekdays, and that will majorly determine its lifetime run at the box office.

At the overseas box office, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon’s film has turned out to be the second film of 2024 to have achieved the $1 million mark. It has left behind Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone-led Fighter, which unlocked the milestone earlier this year.
