Box Office: Fan Drops On Day 5; The Jungle Book Gives A Stiff Competition

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan has shown a further drop in the Tuesday box office collections. The film collected 5.75 crores on its fifth day. Thus, the film’s total now stands with a collection of 64.15 crores at the domestic box office.

Interestingly, in spite of being high on star value as well as being hailed by the critics, Fan is hardly enjoying good footfalls. In fact, The Jungle Book which is currently in its second week, is performing better than the Maneesh Sharma film. The Jungle Book collected 6.37 crores on its 2nd Tuesday.

Shah Rukh’s last film, Dilwale was panned by the critics and audiences managed to make it to the 100 Crore Club in 7 days. Looks like Fan may take slightly longer than that.
