Coming off a historic success of KGF Chapter 2, Yash proved his stardom yet again in the Hindi market with Toxic (Hindi). Without any sequel factor, the magnum opus registered a mind-blowing start at the Indian box office. Post a superb opening, the film saw a downward trend over the extended opening weekend, but since the quantum of business was very high on the first day, it managed to enter the 100 crore club (net) in just 4 days. What is Koimoi Star Ranking?
For the unversed, in Koimoi’s Star Power Index, aka Star Ranking, actors are allotted points based on their films (Bollywood/Hindi) in the coveted box-office clubs (based on Indian collections only), such as the 100 crore club, 200 crore club, and more. For example, 100 points are awarded for a film in the 100-crore club, and so on. 50 points each are given for a film in the top 10 overseas grossers of Bollywood.
Where does Yash currently stand in Koimoi Star Ranking?
With KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi) entering the 400 crore club at the Indian box office, Yash gained 400 points in the Koimoi Star Ranking. Now, with Toxic (Hindi) scoring a century, he has gained 100 points more, pushing his tally to 500 points. He currently stands at 18th spot in the points table, below Ayushmann Khurrana (550 points).

Here’s the breakdown of Yash’s 500 points:
- 1 film in the 100 crore club (Toxic) = 100 points
- 1 film in the 400 crore club (KGF Chapter 2) = 400 points
Can Yash surpass Ayushmann Khurrana and Shahid Kapoor?
Ayushmann Khurrana currently holds the 17th spot with 550 points, while Shahid Kapoor is ranked 16th with 600 points. To surpass both and claim the 16th position, Yash needs 100 more points, something he can achieve if Toxic (Hindi) enters the 200 crore net club. At 600 points, Yash would also edge past Shahid despite the tie, as the Rocking Star has one 400-crore net grosser in Hindi, while Shahid has none.
However, considering the trend, Toxic (Hindi) is unlikely to enter the 200 crore club, so Ayushmann and Shahid are likely to stay safe.
