The buzz around the film was so strong, that even though it released on a non-holiday during the Ramadan period (when Mohammedan cinegoers stay away from theatres) the film opened to 80 per cent all over India and 90 per cent in Mumbai.
The film opened with a massive response on Day 1 and is all set to shatter some previous records set by other Bollywood biggies.
After witnessing a good occupancy in the morning show, the occupancy from the second show onwards started showing a growth, which sustained till the evening shows. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is getting mind-blowing reviews from the audience, as even weekend shows in metro cities are almost booked.
This Kabir Khan directorial is expected to garner around 10 crores+ from Mumbai, while its Day 1 collections is likely to touch 30 Crores mark or even more!
