Exceeded the expectations
Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the political thriller was released on 23rd February. While there were some expectations from the film, considering its intriguing subject, the performance has surpassed pre-release projections. Even a score of 50 crores would have been a good result, but in the actual run, the film has gone beyond the mark of 75 crores.
Article 370 at the Indian box office
After spending 35 days or 5 weeks in theatres, Article 370 has amassed a total of 81.02 crores net at the Indian box office. This is really a good sum, and with a bit of extra push, the film even had a chance of earning 100 crores net. However, that’s far from possible now, but whatever collection has been achieved so far is really impressive.
