WOW! Shah Rukh Khan To Turn Spanish Series ‘Money Heist’ To A Hindi Film; No One Could Be ‘The Professor’ Better Than Him!

Is this it? Shah Rukh Khan’s next project? Is this it? One thing for sure is, he is adapting the very acclaimed Spanish series Money Heist to turn it into a feature film. YES, You heard it right! If you’ve seen the show, imagine how it’ll get translated to the Bollywood levels.

Shah Rukh Khan took a sabbatical since Zero and we’ve been hearing unheard rumours about his next project. From Rohit Shetty, Farah Khan to Rajkumar Hirani and whatnot, he was linked with every director who’s currently not occupied doing any film. But, finally we’ve something and it’s enough for his fans to celebrate about.

According to a source close to Mumbai Mirror, “Shah Rukh Khan was introduced to Money Heist by one of his partners. He loves the show and believes it can be adapted in the Indian context as a feature film,”

The Spanish show, as its name, is all about pulling a money heist no one has ever imagined. Revolving around the mysterious leader who calls himself ‘The Professor’, eight criminals are trained to steal 2.4 billion Euros from the bank. Professor trains them for 5 months and leads the steal from outside the bank.

Now, those who have seen the show know no one can play ‘The professor’ better than Shah Rukh Khan. But to maintain more mystery around it, the source adds, “There is no clarity on Shah Rukh Khan’s involvement as an actor. At this point of time, he is only producing it,” the source informed, adding that the cast will be decided based on the script. “SRK has always been open to involving other actors in his production ventures.”
