At the pre-release trial shows of the film, producer Ahmed Khan used to make it a point to tell people who had been invited to watch the film that they shouldn’t expect it to be another Taare Zameen Par merely because like the earlier super-hit, this film also deals with the education system of our country. Taare Zameen Par? How high-handed is that? After watching the collections, Ahmed Khan sure must have come zameen par from wherever he was floating when he thought of comparing his flop film to Taare Zameen Par.
