Actress Vidya Balan, who had gained excess weight for her film The Dirty Picture has lost some weight and is back in shape for her film Humari Adhuri Kahaani.
A source close to the actress revealed, “Vidya was asked to lose weight by Mohit Suri for Humari Adhuri Kahaani. The actress will be seen as an attractive woman, who also has an extra marital affair. So, she had to get into shape for this film. Vidya who is known for her professionalism has lost few kilos and is back in shape for the film.”
Directed by Mohit Suri, Humari Adhuri Kahaani features Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi and Raj Kummar Rao. Reportedly the film is partly based on Mahesh Bhatt’s life. Vidya will be seen romancing Emraan Hashmi and Rajkumar Rao in the film.
Vidya who had delivered back to back successful films including ‘Paa’, ‘The Dirty Pictures’ and ‘Kahaani’ has faced a huge down fall in her career with her films like ‘Ghanchakkar’ and ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’. Naturally, there is lot of expectation from Vidya Balan from this film as it’s a content driven drama.
