Singer Sonu Nigam’s mother Shobha Nigam is no more. Her last rights were performed here Friday morning.
The 63-year-old passed away Thursday afternoon at 1:40 p.m at her Andheri home. The last rites were performed at the Vile Parle crematorium at 9.30 a.m.
Actor Manoj Bajpai, who was present at the cremation, tweeted: “Dear friend Sonu Nigam’s mother passed away after battling with cancer. May her soul rest peace! Take care of yourself Sonu.”
Other Bollywood celebrities inluding Sajid-Wajid, Talat Aziz, Jatin Pandit and Bhushan Kumar were present at the cermomy.
