Shraddha Kapoor And Sidharth Malhotra To Star In Ekta Kapoor’s ‘The Villain’

Shraddha Kapoor who has become an overnight star with Aashiqui 2 has better success in store for her. The actress has been roped in opposite Sidharth Malhotra for The Villain, reported a leading news portal. Malhotra rose to instant fame with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year last year, which he has maintained ever since.

The film that is in talks is being directed by Aashiqui 2 director Mohit Suri and is to be produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film that will be a romantic thriller is going to be Mohit’s first film outside Bhatt’s Vishesh Films. Ekta and Mohit were desperately looking for a fresh face and Aashiqui 2‘s success was ample impetus for them to cast Shraddha. She is also working on Dharma’s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, directed by Punit Malhotra along with Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
