Sanjay Dutt’s Adheera In KGF: Chapter 2 Is As Devilish As Thanos From Avengers; The Actor Reveals!

KGF: Chapter 1 led by Kannada superstar Yash was a commercial success at the box office. The sequel KGF: Chapter 2 is getting grand as they roped in Sanjay Dutt for the role of Adheera – who is said to be similar as Avengers’ huge purple monster Thanos.

The makers released the teaser of Dutt’s character a couple of days ago which was nothing but a pair of rustic hands. Fans were fast to guess that those hands are of Sanjay Dutt. Yesterday, on the occasion of Baba’s birthday, the makers unveiled the full poster in which we saw the feisty Adheera.

Sanjay Dutt at an event was asked about Adheera and he talked in brief about the same. He told, “In KGF, Adheera’s character is very powerful and if you’ve seen Avengers, you would have seen Thanos, so Adheera is similar to him. In the first chapter of KGF, Adheera comes at the end, but in the second chapter Adheera’s character is quite dangerous and his get-up is quite attractive too. I think that was the zone I was looking for and its there.”

Yesterday, Farhan Akhtar took to his social media accounts and posted the first look with the caption, “I remember, as a kid, watching him shoot for his debut film ‘Rocky’ on bandstand and all these years later we’re finally collaborating on something special.

In KGF: Chapter 2, Dutt plays the antagonist. In the first chapter, Adheera’s identity is never revealed, but we get to know that he gives up his dream of ruling the gold mines for his nephew, only to honour the dying wish of his elder brother, Suryavardhan. The movie is slated for a December release, and also stars Raveena Tandon in a crucial role. The cast of the first film will also return, and the sequel, like chapter one, is directed by Prashant Neel.
