Salman khan’s upcoming sports drama Sultan, has been declared tax free in Uttar Pradesh.
The idea behind the move, which has been taken by The State Minister of Entertainment Department, Madan Chauhan, is to encourage filmmakers to shoot more in the state.
Sultan was shot at Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh recently. The movie will not just receive a tax benefit at the multiplexes but even in the single screen theaters. A special scheme will be brought by the government, mentioned Chauhan.

The whole idea behind this is to have more and more movies shot in Uttar Pradesh for which the filmmakers will get complete support from the Government.
Sultan which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar also stars Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in noted roles. The film is set to hit the screens in Eid this year.
