Salman Khan’s Dabangg franchise has become a brand now and no one can debate on the fact. Dabangg, which was released in 2010 and the sequel Dabangg 2, that released in 2012, both rocked at the Box Office. The movies did huge business in India and Overseas proving Salman Khan as the numero-uno Box Office champion. Dabangg 2 has had its success run at the box office and now accumulated Rs 158.50 crores at the box office and might settle for Rs 160 crores as the final count at India Box Office.
However, with the critics mixed reviews and mixed word of mouth, it seems that it was the two leading brands ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Salman Khan’ that helped ‘Dabangg 2’ do well at the Box Office.
