Salman Khan Is Ruled By His Heart
Salman Khan is such a clean hearted guy that he doesn’t really think of the repercussions of his actions before doing them. He’s not calculative or manipulative at all. He’s ruled by his heart rather than his head, which is why you see him getting into trouble sometimes.
Salman’s Charity Is Unmatched
But Salman is also a guy with a golden heart. The amount of charity he does is probably unmatched in the industry. The best part is that he’s quite averse to his charitable actions being reported which is why he does them undercover mostly.
There are umpteen examples of Salman’s kind acts, where he has given bicycles to kids because he couldn’t bear to see a kid trudging uphill with a bag on his back. And not just one child, many kids were beneficiaries of his largesse just because he saw that one child carrying a heavy bag and walking uphill. Salman’s Being Human foundation, which helps cancer and cataract patients, is well known for its charity.
No Awards, Just Audience
Like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan has also given up accepting awards. He will not accept awards: whether the award is from the film industry or by outside agencies. Even government awards are a strict no-no for Salman. He will not be attending any award function either. People think that he’s in a race to bag awards. But what matters to him is audience’s love and their patronage for his films. Though his refusal to accept or attend award functions is quite recent, he’s going to stick by it, and no amount of cajoling is going to make him change his mind.
