We’re not calling Salman and Aamir Khan ‘blood brothers’ because they both belong to the film fraternity, but the two have been getting together for reasons other than films too. On Independence Day, Salman Khan called out his friends to join him in a blood donation drive in Bandra. Aamir Khan was among those who obliged. Sonakshi Sinha, Malaika Arora, Amisha Patel, Farah Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Dia Mirza, Dino Morea, Kangna Ranaut,  Arbaaz and Sohail Khan.

Aamir Khan tweeted, “Just got a call from Salman Khan to come to Almeda Park to donate blood. Come on all Bandraites. See you there.” As Salman and Aamir lay side by side on the beds, Aamir joked, “We were lying alongside each other, I felt like were in a scene from Amar Akbar Anthony!”

Salman had been to the special screening of Aamir’s production Peepli Live and heaped praises on the movie and the producer. Looks like Aamir had to return the favour with blood!
