We have always known Amole Gupte for his much hyped row with Aamir Khan during Taare Zameen Par. But that’s hopefully all in the past now as the man will slip into the role of a lead antagonist in an out and out commercial film. If reports of a popular news daily are to be believed, Amole Gupte has been roped in to play the villain opposite Ajay Devgn in Rohit Shetty’s Singham 2.

After Prakash Raj looked ferocious as the villain in the last edition of the film, this time Gupte is apparently excited to play something so contrary to one would expect from him. The gossip mongers are even suggesting that Gupte laughed it off initially expecting that it was a prank on him. The actor has been asked to look more beefed up and is hence on a carb heavy diet.
