Just as the long list of films, Salman Khan’s much-awaited Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai also awaits its release. While there were speculations that the film may opt for a digital release, director Prabhudheva has now cleared all the buzz around it. The choreographer-filmmaker has confirmed that the film awaits the resumption of theatres. Below is all you need to know about the same.
Radhe was being shot smoothly as per the deadlines when the pandemic hit the Indian shores. The shooting had to be stopped, and the final schedule was put on hold. The Disha Patani starrer now has a 3-4 days schedule for wrapping up.
Talking to Bollywood Hungama about the Salman Khan starrer, Prabhudheva said, “We have just a small portion of shooting left. No more than 3-4 days. The post-production is on, and we can come anytime the theatres open.”
As per Prabhudheva, Salman Khan is a star that can bring the audience back to the theatres. The filmmaker is eying Diwali Christmas 2020 or Republic Day 2021 for the release of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.
“If anyone can do this (get audiences back into theatres), it is Salman Sir. He is the hope after the coronavirus. We are waiting for theatres to open so we can give the audience a chance to return. We are okay with Diwali or Christmas 2020. Or with Republic day in 2021. Nothing has been decided,” said Radhe director Prabhudheva.
The film was set for an Eid 2020 release initially.
