Join UsActress Priyanka Chopra has been conferred the Padma Shri by President Pranab Mukherjee at an investiture ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday.
She was questioned by a reporter during the Press Meet that how important this Indian award is for her, to which she replied, “Very important…First of all being from a defence family, this means a lot. My father would have been very proud. Getting an acknowledgement for my job is an another feeling all together…It’s an incredible feeling.”
The Bajirao Mastani star was wearing a beautiful yellow saree for the proud award ceremony.
