Kabir Khan’s ’83 is one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies. The film which is based on India’s glorious 1983 World Cup victory is already high on buzz and now we hear that the makers are already planning to produce a film on ICC World Cup 2019.

According to Pinkvilla reports, producers, Madhu Mantena and Sajid Nadiadwala along with Deepika Padukone’s production house are working on the idea to produce a film on the on-going World Cup series if India comes out victorious.

A source has been quoted as saying by the entertainment website, “The talks for the movie has already begun where Madhu is super excited to get the movie going. He has started further talks on this new project as well”.

Even Madhu Mantena confirmed the news and said, “We are making the film to mark the iconic 1983 victory. After ’83, if India wins the World Cup this year in 2019, we would like to make a film on the win.”

Now that’s indeed a big news. Isn’t it?

Meanwhile, ’83 movie’s shoot is going on and it was learnt recently that the final match of the 83 World Cup will be shot in Lord’s Stadium after the 2019 World Cup is over. Ranveer Singh plays the role of Kapil Dev in the film and Deepika Padukone plays his wife.

Other star cast includes names like Pankaj Tripathi, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu. The film is slated to release on April 10, 2020.
