Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi took potshots and alleged Mumbai Police yesterday, for blocking her from viewing their timeline. She also tagged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amruta Fadnavis, further complicating the scene.
Payal Rohatgi also posted a screenshot, which showed that she is blocked by Mumbai Police. She quoted, ” Why has @MumbaiPolice blocked me? Are U BFF with drug accused jailed minority tag actor. As a #Hindu I am scared to live in Hindustan if Police has such baised behaviour. Now I understand why my family tells me 2 stop talking 4 Hindus @Sangram_Sanjeet @PMOIndia @HMOIndia”.

Taking the note of tweet, Amruta Fadnavis intervened the situation and urged Mumbai Police to look into the matter. She quoted, ” A citizen expressing personal views (not intending to hurt religious sentiments)on social media – should not be blocked by public entities/organisations. Request @MumbaiPolice to look into the issue of @Payal_Rohatgi”.
In response, Mumbai Police denied all the allegations by saying that they never restrict anyone from interacting with them and assured of investigating the matter.
