Is Bollywood still fixated with everything foreign? Or are international artists flocking to a newfound fan base and lucrative market in the populous nation? Koimoi.com looks at the celebrities who have made a bee line to India recently:
Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton’s picture of handing a hundred dollar note to a beggar made it to the headlines in India as did her photos to the regular Page 3 pages. Besides that, people barely know why the American heiress came to Mumbai. She did launch her bag collection and also partied the night away with Bollywood celebrities who were more than happy to have their pictures clicked with the blonde celebrity.
Akon
As if Akon wasn’t already popular in India with his club hits, his Chammak Challo and Criminal songs from Ra.One have made him a hot favourite once again. The hip-hop artist not only sang for Shah Rukh Khan’s film, he even partied with the star and recorded a song with other Indian artists.

Kylie Minogue
Australian pop-star Kylie Minogue looked ravishing as she did a sexy Chiggy Wiggy with Akshay Kumar in Blue. She recorded the song with AR Rahman for the 2009 movie and also featured in a music video with Akshay and other cast members of the movie.
Denise Richards & Sylvester Stallone
For once, it wasn’t Akshay Kumar who got the hard-core action scenes in his film. It was Sylvester Stallone who bashed the living daylights out of the bad guys and rescued Kareena Kapoor in Kambakkht Ishq. But Akki compensated for that with a kiss from hottie Denise Richards!
Barbara Mori
Mexican actress Barbara Mori arrived with a bang as Hrithik Roshan’s love interest in Kites. While the film may have been in the news for all the wrong reasons, Mori had her 15 minutes of fame with her hot scenes with Hrithik in the movie and all the pre-release hype. The movie turned out to be a dud and Mori made a fleeting return to Bollywood with the utterly forgettable Spanish Beauty.
