‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘ actor Salman Khan has decided not to use a body double for action sequences in his upcoming biographical sports drama ‘Sultan‘.
The 49-year old actor Salman Khan will be seen portraying the character of a Haryanvi Wrestler in ‘Sultan’. Coincidentally Salman’s close friend and actor Aamir Khan is also working on wrestling themed film ‘Dangal‘ which is scheduled to release in December 2016. Aamir Khan suffered from a shoulder injury while performing action stint in ‘Dangal‘ and has been advised for a week bed rest.
Salman Khan showed concern for his friend Aamir and asked media considering his injury that he hopes that nothing is serious in that injury.
When asked about what precautions he’ll take while performing action sequences the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘ said to an leading newspaper that “I will not use duplicate …I will make sure I do it (action). I will train hard for it. I will have to get bigger and stronger and that is difficult. I am 88 (weight), I will have to reach 94 and then come down to 70 again. It will be all muscles.”
‘Sultan‘ is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is slated to release in Eid next year.
