It’s one of the saddest days of 2020 as Bollywood’s legendary actor Irrfan Khan passed away. The 5-year-actor took his last breath in Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital. Yesterday, the Haider actor was admitted there due to colon infection.
As soon as the news of Irrfan Khan’s demise came out, people took to their social media pages to express their grief and offer condolences. A lot of celebs also took to their Twitter page to pay their respects. Mumbai Police’s official Twitter account paid a wonderful tribute to the actor.
They shared a pic of Irrfan Khan who is smiling in it and has the text, “Tumko yaad rakhenge Guru Hum”. The Mumbai Police Twitter account wrote, “I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.”

For 2 years, Irrfan Khan has been fighting cancer. He returned to India earlier last year and everyone was happy and hoped for his recovery. He last worked in Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium which released this year and received positive reviews.
Irrfan Khan’s demise is truly a huge loss. Celebs from TV, South film industry, Bollywood and Hollywood are mourning his death. People are calling him a legend and a lovely human being. The actor has done a lot of memorable films with impeccable performances which the audience will never forget. In his career of more than 3 decades, he has done fantastic films like Maqbool, The Namesake, Talvar, Piku, The Lunchbox, Paan Singh Tomar, Ek Doctor Ki Maut, Life of Pi, Jurrasic World, Blackmail, Hindi Medium and the list goes on and one.
