Join Us‘Jism 2‘ has released and true to its name, it boasts of glamorous, sexy and hot characters. Though the adage of ‘script required such characters’ is pretty much repeated, the audience isn’t quite complaining, what with Sunny Leone capturing imagination for the men folk. As for women, there is hot-n-sexy Arunoday Singh who is being seen as just an apt choice for the role and expected to add on to the crowd.
For an actor who has shown his acting capabilities right from the days to ‘Sikander’ to ‘Aisha’ and then ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’, he is finding his way up in Bollywood. However one wonders if ‘Jism 2‘ may typecast him.
“Well, I don’t think so”, says Arunoday in a confident tone, “I don’t think I can be easily typecast. You have seen me doing different roles right from the days of ‘Sikander’ to ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’; did you find any similarities? Filmmakers have given me different options and I have done my best to the pick the ones which haven’t been similar to my past work. In fact tomorrow if someone offers me the role of a villain and I like it then I would definitely pick it up. So to answer your question, no I don’t thing ‘Jism 2’ would end up slotting me in erotic roles.”
From the commercial perspective though one can see that ‘Jism 2‘ is indeed his most commercial film till date, what with the Pooja Bhatt directed affair marketing and promoting it quite well.
“Well, as far as the commercial quotient is concerned, Pooja would be the best person to answer that since ‘Jism 2‘ is her baby”, smiles Arunoday, “Clichéd as it may sound but I did the film as it suited my taste and was also very challenging for me. Moreover, I knew for sure that this is one film that many would come to watch. Which actor won’t want that? I also trusted the same and here I am looking forward to how the film finds its audience in days to come.”
