Bollywood music and dance has a great role to play behind the success and popularity of the Hindi movie industry all over the world. Our country is basically a sea of talent which just needs to be explored more.
Mumbai based Indian dance group The Kings recently made us super proud as it won the US reality show World Of Dance’s 3rd season and brought home a prize money of $1 million. The moment was a historic one and worth celebration because Indian talent was recognized as best in front of the world.
It all started with The Kings rocking the World Of Dance stage with a breathtaking performance in The Qualifiers round. The energetic team of the group bowled away the audience with their performance and scored 97.7 numbers.
In The Duels round they were even better. The Kings broke the stage as they danced their gut out on Malhari from Bajirao Mastani. The Kings scored 99.3 numbers in this round.
Another eye-popping performance came in The Cut round as they performed on the Tattad Tattad song from Ram Leela. The score was 97.7 in this round.

The magic of moves continued in the Divisional Finale round. The song was Ye Raat from Aks and it was sheer brilliance. The score was 99.7.
Then came the World Finale and The Kings scored a perfect 100 in it. They proved that they are the indeed “The Kings” in yet another marvelous performance.

The highlight was how The Kings used Bollywood songs for their performances and the impact it created it on everyone. It was truly overwhelming to see the reactions of the jury which comprised of names like Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough.
The Kings is a hip-hop dance crew which comprises of 14 young members aged between 17-27. Before winning the World of Dance competition, they have been winners at the India’s Got Talent Season 3 and second runner up in World Hip-Hop Dance Championship 2015
