Escaping this tragic incident, actress Genelia D’Souza who was shooting for a commercial in the same area immediately informed of being safe. The actress was only a few meters away from the blast site.
She tweeted about her safety and sent out condolences to those injured and bereaved by the incident. “Bomb set off just opp the mall we are currently in -can hear the sirens blazing all over- we are safe but feels terrible for the lives lost.”
