Deepika Padukone Visits Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Office, Piques Speculation For A New Project

Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali share a very special bond. After all, it was the sets of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film where she met her husband Ranveer Singh. The two did three films – Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat together and we think they might be working on another project now.

Yes, Deepika was recently spotted at the SLB office on Saturday and speculations have it that the two will be doing a film together again. This meeting happened amidst the Inshallah and Gangubai conundrum and this gives birth to considerations that Deepika might be a part of it.

According to reports, a source close to the development has revealed that Bhansali is planning quite a few projects in the near future. Alia Bhatt’s fears have now been surfeited after the shelving of Inshallah, with SLB telling her that they are working together very soon. He is also in the middle of making an announcement for his next project. So with Deepika making a visit, we wonder what it could be all about.

Apart from this, Deepika will be seen essaying the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhappak. the film also features Lipstick Under My Burkha actor Vikrant Massey. He will essay the role of Deepika’s love interest in the movie. The film hits the theatres on January 10, 2020.

She is also a part of Kabir Khan’s cricket drama – ’83. She will essay the role of Kapil Dev’s wife in the film. The film marks Ranveer and Deepika’s return on the bug screen after almost a year.
