It was only yesterday when the makers of Chehre took on twitter to confirm the news that Kriti is no longer part of Chehre. Their tweet read: “In the light of recent media reports, we wish to clarify that @kriti_official & @apmpictures have mutually agreed to part ways on a cordial & professional note. We wish her success in all her future endeavours!”

Now as per a report by Pinkvilla, Chehre‘s producer Anand Pandit has approached Manikarnika actress Ankita Lokhande for the role. The report also further stated that Ankita has liked the narration of her character. However, she is yet to sign the dotted lines for the film.
The actress is currently busy with Ahmed Khan’s Baaghi 3 which has Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles.

Talking about Chehre, the Amitabh Bachchan starrer went on floors in May this year.
The mystery thriller also stars Annu Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty, amongst others.
