Late veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi’s English Vinglish directed by Gauri Shinde had set a trend back when it had released in 2012. When the movie was being shot for the Tamil version, Sridevi had a desire to see Indian actor Ajith Kumar in a movie by husband Boney Kapoor.

Now Boney has made his wife’s dream come true as Ajith will be next seen in his Nerkonda Paarvai, the remake of Amitabh Bachchan- Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink.

On Tuesday morning the producer of Mr. India took to his Twitter to write,” I am truly blessed 9 am IST today Premiere Show of @nerkondapaarvai will start in Singapore. I have managed to fulfill my wife Sridevi Kapoor’s dream It couldn’t have been possible without the support of #AjithKumar #HVinoth, entire cast & technicians. I shall always cherish this.” The heartfelt words by Boney show, how much he loved his late wife.

The premiere of the movie is set to release in Singapore at 9 Am. The social- courtroom flick is set to release on 8th August in India.

Previously Boney had told Deccan Chronicle that, ”While working together with Ajith for English Vinglish, Sridevi had expressed her desire that Ajith does a Tamil film for our home production. Nothing exciting came up till one day last year, Ajith suggested remaking Pink in Tamil. She immediately agreed with him as she thought it was the most appropriate and timely film to make and Ajith would bring all the elements required to make it into a great Tamil film.”

Directed by H. Vinoth, the film titled Nerkonda Paarvai also stars Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tariang and Abhirami Iyer along with Vidya Balan, who makes a special appearance
