Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty’s Bollywood debut has been in talks for a long time. It was earlier announced that just like Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff, producer Sajid Nadiadwala will be launching Suniel Shetty’s son and now the film is all set to go on floors today.
According to the Pune Mirror report, the Milan Luthria film starring Ahan Shetty & Tara Sutaria in lead will kickstart today and will have a small schedule in a Mumbai single screen theatre named Central Plaza today.
A source close to the development has been quoted as saying, “Ahan’s character runs a movie theatre there. The scene with which the schedule is starting has a lot of drama.”
Shedding more details about the schedule, director Milan Luthria informed that the first schedule will only involve Ahan and Tara will join later. He said, “She will be present for lunch on the first day, but isn’t a part of the shoot.”
Ahan’s debut film will be the remake of Telugu hit RX100. Talking about the film and why they chose to make an action film for Ahan’s debut, Milan said, “Doing a candy floss romance didn’t seem like the way to go for a guy like Ahan. Sajid and I come from a commercial background wherein films ride on drama, action and confrontations with twists and turns. I loved the original film and we have adapted it to suit Hindi audience’s sensibilities. It’s dramatic and an unexpected story.”
Interestingly, Ahan is not the only one after Suniel Shetty who is set to make a mark in the Bollywood industry. Before him, his sister Athiya Shetty has done two Bollywood films titled Hero & Mubarakan.
