Kiku Sharda Accused Of Cheating For An Amount Of 50 Lakhs; Police Complaint Filed!

The Kapil Sharma Show fame actor-comedian Kiku Sharda has become a household name due to his portrayal of characters like Bachcha Yadav. Apart from his comic acts the actor has also found himself in the controversies, especially he was booked for mimicking Ram Rahim Singh. Now, Kiku is back in the news with another controversy and it is associated with a trust, whose secretary is his father.

According to the reports flowing in, art director Nitin Kulkarni has filed a complaint against the six people from a charitable trust called The Mumbai Fest. The complaint stated that they cheated Nitin for an amount of 50.70 lakhs. Though Kiku has denied the allegations as he is not an active member of the trust, his name has been included in the complaint at Amboli Police station.

Nitin Kulkarni was a set designer for the fest which was held for 3 days at the MMRDA grounds in BKC, last year. He added that he didn’t receive any copy of the agreement and the cheque given to him was bounced. Both Kiku and his father have denied any involvement in the case.

Speaking about the matter, the police officer stated, “The dispute arose between the two parties due to some miscommunication about the due amount. After receiving a complaint we have registered an FIR and our probe is on. We will verify the claims made by both sides.” The lawyer of the trust commented on the case and said, “We will give all the necessary documents to the police and also submit proof in court, ” reports Mumbai Mirror.
