The upcoming Amitabh Bachchan starrer Bhoothnath Returns seems to have found itself in a legal hassle. The producers of the film were involved in a copyright infringement battle with a writer who claimed that that the movie is based on his literary works.

The Delhi High Court has asked the producers of the film to settle the dispute with writer Sushant Supriya, who is only asking for credit in the film and does not wish to bring a stay on its release. According to Supriya, the film is based on his short story and is an adaptation of his literary work ‘Bhoothnath‘ which was published in 2007 in a Hindi Magazine Aaj Kal.

Luckily the film will not be facing any troubles with its release. It is all set to release on April 11th.
