The film revolves around two fictional freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Ajay Devgn is also playing an important role in the film.
Audiences will be super excited to see Ajay Devgn come on screen as he has a huge fan base in Bollywood. Now, the news is that Ajay Devgn is on board to play Ram Charan’s father. The shoot is on in full swing in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City. It is also stated that Ajay will appear in the second half of the movie as a throwback portion. Initially, the actor was a little doubtful to take the role due to less screen space, but Rajamouli has an art of narration, which changed his views.
A source confirmed the news to an entertainment portal and said, “Ajay will be playing father to actor Ramcharan. The shoot of the film is going on in film swing as of now in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Filmcity!”
“He wasn’t sure because the part is not very long. It is almost like an extended cameo and he wasn’t sure about doing it. But after a narration from Rajamouli, he got excited. It was also one reason why Ajay initially had given a statement saying he wasn’t doing the film at all. Things worked out eventually,” the source added.

A couple of days ago, it was revealed that Alia Bhatt would be romancing Ram Charan in RRR. A source told Mumbai Mirror, “She will shoot with Charan in Ahmedabad and Pune in the next couple of months. She will be seen in the look of a young girl from the early 1900s.”
