Aamir Khan who had last brushed up his Bhojpuri twang for a commercial years ago is on the job again. Aamir who is popular for his perfectionist trend of work has decided to work on his Bhojpuri skills. Putting it to use in Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K, the actor was convinced that it wouldn’t be credible to use Hindi instead of the local language Bhojpuri in the film’s dialogues.
Aamir whose meticulousness is a lesson to learn in Bollywood, had previously done the same for his Oscar Nominated film Lagaan in 2001. A large part of Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K is set in rural India where Bhojpuri is the most popular language. Aamir who takes careful notice of such details was assured that it would be preferable to use Bhojpuri instead of Hindi. P.K starring Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput, alongside Aamir and is slated for an early 2014 release.
