Actor Akshay Kumar and Director Neeraj Pandey came together for the second time after their first successful collaboration venture ‘Special 26‘. The poster promised one thing for sure that this flick will be high on action and drama, what with its ensemble cast including Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Jameel Khan and Rasheed Naz featuring on it. ‘Baby‘ was released on 23rd January and was critically and commercially successful at box office.

‘Badlapur‘ proved to be a turning point in the career of actor Varun Dhawan who broke the stereotype of chocolate lover-boy by portraying a character having darker shade. The poster portrayed the intensity of the characters of the film, featuring Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Varun is giving a stern look while Nawazuddin is seen sporting a wicked smile on his face. The film released on 20th February and also featured Yami Gautam, Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles.
Hunterrr was a hatke adult comedy flick released in 2015. The poster of the flick showcased Gulshan Devaiah, playing a sex-addict in the film. The poster was quite suggestive and made headlines for its creativity! The film also featured Radhika Apte and Sai Tamhankar in pivotal characters. ‘Hunterrr‘ was released on 20 March and turned out be a surprise hit at the box office.
‘Gabbar Is Back‘, the remake of Tamil film ‘Ramanna‘ was an out and out commercial vigilante action crime drama of 2015. Akshay Kumar was featured in raw stubble look as a vigilante in the poster which correctly symbolized the theme and background of the film. The film which released on 1st May also featured Suman Talwar, Shruti Hassan and Sunil Grover in key roles.
‘Dil Dhadakne Do‘, which deals with the life of a dysfunctional Punjabi family, had a very stylish first look poster. The poster showed the ensemble cast of the film which includes Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Shefali Shah, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma and also the dog, chilling on a cruise ship which successfully conveyed the gist of the film. The film was released on 5th June and was well appreciated by critics and audiences.
This Salman Khan starrer turned out to be the biggest grosser of 2015. The poster of the film clearly gave you the core story of the flick where Salman Khan holds Harshali Malhotra aka Munni on his back and vows to take her home, Pakistan safely. The film also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kareena Kapoor Khan in key roles. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘ was released on Eid in 2015.
‘Hate Story 3‘, the third installment of ‘Hate Story‘ franchise grabbed great attention due to its bold poster. The poster of this erotic-thriller easily captured the theme of Open Love, Hidden Hate through its intimate portrayal. The film featured Sharman Joshi, Zarine Khan, Daisy Shah & Karan Singh Grover in key roles and was one of the most profitable films of 2015.
This magnum opus was one of the most awaited films of 2015. The intriguing poster of this epic love-story beautifully captured the blend of passionate love between the characters played by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone and the saddened jealousy in the eyes of Kashibai played by Priyanka Chopra. Bajirao Mastani went on to become one of the highest grossing films of 2015 which also featured Mahesh Manjrekar and Tanvi Azmi in pivotal roles.
The poster of this Irrfan Khan starrer mystery thriller was visually appealing. It successfully conveyed the serious traits related to investigation and journey to get justice. Talvar also featured Tabu, Konkona Sen Sharma, Avika Gor & Neeraj Kabi in the pivotal roles.
This romantic drama starring hit onscreen couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone created a great buzz with this poster. The poster also showcased the great chemistry between the lead characters. ‘Tamasha‘ also featured Piyush Mishra and Javed Sheikh in supporting roles.
This Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 3D dance flick created great amount of buzz through its poster among the moviegoers. Featuring the lead star Varun holding his co-star Shraddha with her back arched, the flawless pose on the poster described the genre and core of the movie very convincingly. ‘ABCD 2‘ which performed very well at the box office also featured Prabhudheva in a supporting character.
Tanu Weds Manu Returns, which is the sequel of Tanu Weds Manu followed the similar path to its prequel for portraying the story of the film through its wedding poster. R. Madhavan is shown as groom while Kangana dons a double role portraying his wife and another one as an Haryanvi athlete. The poster showcased the double trouble for R. Madhavan in the most simplest way which has given you the hint about biggest twist in the story. Tanu Weds Manu Returns also featured Swara Bhaskar, Jimmy Shergill and Deepak Dobriyal in key roles.
